Grooming Services
From routine trims to breed-specific haircuts, our grooming services help keep your dog's coat healthy, manageable, and looking its best. We recommend grooming every 4-8 weeks for most dogs, and services can be conveniently added to daycare or boarding stays for a fresh, polished pickup!

Includes a bath, haircut, brush-out, nail trim, ear cleaning and finishing touches.

Includes a bath, brush-out, nail trim, ear cleaning and light trimming around the face, feet and sanitary areas.

What vaccinations are required for dog grooming at PetSuites?
All grooming guests must be at least 3 months old and meet the following age-based health requirements:
Dogs 5 months and older:
Completed DHPP series, rabies, Bordetella, CIV and a negative fecal sample
Puppies 4 months old:
Completed DHPP series, rabies, Bordetella, first CIV vaccination and a negative fecal sample
Puppies 3 months old:
Two DHPP vaccinations, first CIV vaccination and a negative fecal sample

How often should my dog be groomed?
The ideal grooming schedule depends on your dog's breed, coat type, lifestyle, and individual needs.
In general:
Full Grooms are typically recommended every 4-8 weeks.
Full Baths and Premium Baths are typically recommended every 2-4 weeks.
Mini Grooms can help maintain your dog's appearance between full grooming appointments.
Regular grooming helps reduce matting, remove dirt and loose hair, support healthy skin and coat condition, and keep your dog comfortable year-round. Your PetSuites groomer can recommend a personalized grooming schedule based on your dog's specific needs.
What's the difference between a Full Groom, Mini Groom, and Bath Service?
PetSuites offers several grooming options to meet different needs.
A Full Groom includes a bath, haircut, nail trim, ear cleaning, and finishing touches. This service is ideal for breeds that require routine haircuts or coat maintenance.
A Mini Groom includes a bath, light trimming around the face, feet, and sanitary areas, along with nail care and ear cleaning. It's a great option between Full Groom appointments.
Bath Services focus on keeping your dog's coat clean and healthy. Depending on the package selected, services may include bathing, blow drying, brushing, nail trimming, ear cleaning, teeth brushing, coat conditioning treatments, and other spa-style upgrades.

Can I add grooming to my dog's boarding stay or daycare visit?
Yes! One of the conveniences of PetSuites is the ability to combine grooming with your dog's boarding stay or daycare visit.
Many pet parents schedule a grooming service before pickup so their dog returns home feeling fresh, clean, and looking their best. Exit Baths are especially popular following boarding or daycare visits, while Full Grooms and Bath Services can also be scheduled based on availability.
